Camera compatibility

Use the camera you already have.

HEVEA Pulse is designed for the cameras people actually carry — not the ones sitting in a studio. If you filmed it, we can process it.

Formats: MP4, INSV (converted)

A note on 360-degree footage

360-degree footage from Insta360 devices is automatically reframed using our proprietary methodology before processing. This works very well for ambient B-roll — wide landscapes, construction progress, events. For close-up talking-head content, a standard camera (iPhone, GoPro) produces sharper narrative clips.

Not yet supported

We believe in being upfront about limitations. These formats are not currently supported:

Cinema RAW formats

RED (.R3D), BRAW (Blackmagic), ARRIRAW. These formats require specialized processing pipelines that are not yet in HEVEA Pulse.

Professional cinema drones

DJI Inspire, Matrice series, and other pro drones that output RAW footage. Consumer drones (DJI Mini 3, Air 3) are fully supported.

Professional format support is on the roadmap. Follow the blog for updates.
