Limitations to be aware of
No camera is perfect for every situation. The Pocket 4 has real limitations that affect its suitability for certain content types:
Low-light performance — while improved over previous Pocket models, the 1/1.3-inch sensor is still smaller than a smartphone flagship sensor. In indoor environments with poor lighting (evening meetings, dimly lit venues), noise becomes visible at higher ISO values.
The fixed focal length is an ultrawide — approximately 22mm equivalent. This is excellent for environments but challenging for talking-head content at close distances, where the perspective distortion at the edges of the frame is unflattering.
Audio in noisy environments is limited by the built-in microphone array. For any content where your voice needs to be audible over ambient noise, use an external microphone.
