Building a Business (and a Villa) in Public
A week-by-week account of using HEVEA Pulse to document a villa construction, a business relocation, and multiple venture builds — all while living it in real time in Koh Samui.
The situation
Relocating from Switzerland to Koh Samui while simultaneously managing a fiduciary business, launching a crypto signal platform, overseeing villa construction, and maintaining an active Instagram presence for multiple ventures. Filming happens naturally throughout the week. The problem: no time to edit, sequence, or publish any of it.
The goal was not to produce polished agency-grade content. It was to publish consistently — every week, without missing — while the story was actually happening.
Week by week
The last Swiss winter
Closing down an apartment in Zurich. Office handover. The footage: two packed suitcases on a grey February street. Uploaded 22 clips. HEVEA Pulse surfaced one — the suitcase door refusing to close — as the opening moment of the story.
Arrival in Koh Samui
First day on the island. Villa plot visit. The narrative engine connected this clip to the Week 1 suitcase scene automatically — building the "from grey to green" arc without manual instruction.
Ground breaking
18 clips of concrete pours, site meetings, and architect walkthroughs. The system extracted two hero moments and tagged everything else into the B-roll archive. The B-roll was used six weeks later without manual search.
First structural walls
The narrative thread now had 12 weeks of continuity. HEVEA Pulse generated a monthly recap Reel automatically — pulling clips from weeks 1, 3, 6, and 12 into a single cohesive story the audience had been following.
