Content Moderation Policy
Last updated: 1 August 2026
Overview
HEVEA Pulse is a content automation platform that processes and publishes video content on behalf of its users. We are committed to ensuring that the platform is not used to create, distribute, or publish harmful, illegal, or abusive content.
This policy applies to all content uploaded to or created through HEVEA Pulse, including raw footage, processed clips, captions, and published Instagram posts.
Prohibited Content
The following categories of content are strictly prohibited on HEVEA Pulse:
Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)
Zero toleranceAny content that sexually exploits or depicts minors in a sexual manner is absolutely prohibited. We have zero tolerance for CSAM. We will immediately report any such content to relevant law enforcement authorities and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or equivalent body.
Illegal Content
Zero toleranceContent that is illegal under applicable laws, including content that promotes, facilitates, or depicts criminal activity; content that violates export controls; content that facilitates terrorism, human trafficking, or exploitation.
Hate Speech
ProhibitedContent that promotes, glorifies, or incites hatred, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
Violence and Gore
ProhibitedGraphic depictions of real-world violence, torture, or gore intended to shock or disturb. This does not apply to news content or clearly fictional/artistic depictions with legitimate editorial purpose.
Copyright Infringement
ProhibitedUploading or publishing content that infringes third-party copyright, including unlicensed music, film clips, or other copyrighted material you do not have rights to use. Users are responsible for ensuring they hold the necessary licences for all content they upload.
Privacy Violations
ProhibitedContent that reveals private information about individuals without their consent, including non-consensual intimate imagery ("revenge porn"), doxxing, or publication of private communications.
Misinformation and Fraud
RestrictedContent designed to deceive or defraud, including impersonation of public figures, fake endorsements, fabricated news, or coordinated inauthentic behaviour.
Spam and Artificial Engagement
RestrictedUsing HEVEA Pulse to generate spam, artificially inflate engagement metrics, or automate activity in ways that violate Instagram's Terms of Service.
How Violations Are Handled
Detection
We use a combination of automated scanning tools and human review to identify prohibited content. Automated systems flag content based on known hash databases (for CSAM), keyword patterns, and metadata signals. Flagged content is queued for human review before any enforcement action is taken, except in cases of CSAM where immediate action is required.
User Reports
If you encounter content that you believe violates this policy — including content published by another HEVEA Pulse user — you can report it to us at hello@heveapulse.com with the subject line "Content Report." Please include as much detail as possible about the content in question.
Enforcement Actions
Depending on the severity and nature of the violation, we may take one or more of the following actions:
- Content removal — deleting the specific piece of content from our systems
- Publishing halt — preventing specific content from being published to Instagram
- Account warning — notifying the user of the violation and warning of further action
- Account suspension — temporarily disabling access to the Service
- Account termination — permanently closing the account with no refund
- Law enforcement referral — reporting to relevant authorities where required by law
Zero-tolerance violations (CSAM, facilitation of terrorism) result in immediate permanent account termination and law enforcement referral, without prior warning.
Appeals Process
If you believe an enforcement action was taken against your account or content in error, you may appeal the decision within 30 days of receiving notice.
How to Appeal
- 1Send an email to hello@heveapulse.com with the subject line "Content Appeal"
- 2Include your account email, a description of the enforcement action, and why you believe it was made in error
- 3Provide any relevant evidence or context (e.g., licensing documentation for copyrighted material)
Appeal Review
We will review your appeal and respond within 14 business days. Our review will be conducted by a team member who was not involved in the original enforcement decision. Our decision on appeal is final.
Please note: appeals are not available for zero-tolerance violations (CSAM, terrorism facilitation) or repeated violations after prior warnings.
Third-Party Platform Rules
HEVEA Pulse publishes content to Instagram on your behalf. In addition to our own policy, all content must comply with Instagram's Community Guidelines and Terms of Use. Violations of Instagram's policies may result in your Instagram account being restricted or banned independently of any action we take.
